Superior Connections

Superior Connections is a retreat center where you can gather with friends and family, to enjoy a relaxing weekend, spending time together, while preserving memories or even creating new ones! We are located in the friendly little town of Washburn, Wisconsin, on the beautiful southern shores of Lake Superior, 70 miles east of Duluth, MN. It is a place where you can get away from your busy life, and enjoy some scrapbooking, quilting, stamping, or any other craft that brings you joy. We can also accommodate weddings, receptions, family reunions, or a mini vacation getaway with friends. Superior Connections offers many of the comforts of home, to make your stay memorable.

Our Center accommodates 12 people comfortably, and is furnished with ten twin beds, one twin bunk bed, complete with pillows, linens and a comforter. Two full bathrooms, ceramic tiled showers, and towels are also provided. Our living room is complete with TV/VCR, cozy electric fireplace, couches and chairs, where you can watch a movie, relax or just spend time together with your friends or family. A CD player/radio (discs not included) is also available for your listening pleasure.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary cooking needs. You may bring food already prepared, or make use of our included equipment so you can cook on site (food not included). Don’t want to cook, we provide a list of the local restaurants/coffee shops, waiting to serve your needs. If your group doesn’t want to cook at all, we can provide a local Caterer, for an additional fee. For coffee lovers, we have included two coffee pots, for regular and decaffeinated. A pizza oven is included too!
